Welcome to Survival Mode
Starting Minecraft survival for the first time can be realy confusing. No map no direction and mobs trying to kill you. This guide will help you learn the basics of staying alive in your first few days and nights.
Gather Wood Fast
As soon as you spawn punch a tree and collect wood. Make a crafting table and some basic tools like axe pickaxe and sword. Wood is the base of everything in Minecraft.
Make Tools and Shelter
Use your wood to craft tools and build a quick shelter before night. Dig a hole in a hill or make a dirt box. You need to stay safe from zombies and creepers at night.
Get Light and Food
Try to find coal or make charcoal to craft torches. Light stops mobs from spawning. Also kill animals or collect apples for food. Hunger can kill you in survival mode.
Start Mining
Dig down carefully and collect stone iron and coal. Don’t dig straight down or you might fall in lava. Make stone tools and upgrade your gear slowly.
Explore But Stay Close
Don’t run far from your shelter too early. Explore nearby areas for animals water and trees. Set a spawn point using a bed if you find sheep.
Stay Armed
Craft a sword or axe and always carry some food. Mobs attack at night or inside caves. Armor also helps when you start finding iron.
